Happy 5 Month Birthday Sweet Boy!
I can't believe how fast this little guy is changing. He seems discontent to stay a baby in any way. Sometimes it makes me sad to see him growing up so fast, but it has also been a blast seeing him enter each new stage of life.
5 days old
Levi started holding his head up and giving us little smiles in the first week or two. He was a great sleeper and only got up once or twice during the night.
He has been a loud boy ever since he was born. He started screaming in church the first Sunday we were there, and everyone told us he had lungs like his Daddy.
1 month
Even as a newborn, he always wanted to be on the move! He loved to be walked around,
and if we were sitting on the couch, HE wanted to stand up.
2 months
We moved into our new house, and he started sleeping in his own room. ALMOST sleeping through the night. He was always the happiest when he could walk around the house with me and see what was going on. And definitely the unhappiest when he had to sit in his chair or on the floor with toys while I did things around the house or practiced. The floor is boring!
He loved to stand up on our laps during church, and it was one of the only ways we could keep him quiet during the sermon. But we felt bad when we had a ton of people comment on how adorably distracting he was, smiling at everyone in the rows behind us.
3 months
He is just like his mom - he loves to sleep on his tummy. But he learned to roll over on to his back, and would start fussing and fussing until I went in and rolled him back over. Then he would immediately fall asleep.
His hair was getting a little out of control, so just before he turned 4 months it was time for a hair cut!
4 months
His biggest accomplishment of 4 months was learning to sit up. And it has been so helpful for me, because he entertains himself much better now that he can sit on the floor with toys.
Doing homework with Dad
And 5 months!
Getting ready to move!
It has been such a blessing to be at home with my little guy every day and watch him grow.
I love you, Levi!
